From SJO airport (San José)
Out of SJO, the trip heads west on Route 1 and crosses the mountains on Route 702 or Route 141 before reaching La Fortuna, approx. 3 h of driving in our fare table. The hotel is then about 8 km further west on Route 142. If you land in the evening, you'll cover the mountain section in the dark; Standard goes direct, with a restroom stop if you need one.
From Liberia airport (LIR)
