Getting to Arenal Springs Resort & Spa from SJO and Liberia
From SJO airport (San José)
The SJO transfer starts on Route 1, climbs over the mountains on Route 702 or Route 141 and descends to La Fortuna, approx. 3 h in our fare table. From the centre it is about 7 km west on Route 142 to the hotel. On a VIP transfer we use the Vara Blanca road and stop at La Paz waterfall and the Cinchona lookout.
From Liberia airport (LIR)
From Liberia we come along Lake Arenal and down Route 142 from the west, reaching La Palma, and Arenal Springs, before La Fortuna town. The fare table gives approx. 2 h 45 min. With VIP, the lake viewpoints and Café y Macadamia are the recommended stops.
