The hotel's own location page puts it 22 km from La Fortuna, about 30 minutes, in the village of El Castillo. The way in shares the first part with the Arenal Observatory Lodge: leave Route 142 at the turn-off before the lake, then head toward El Castillo. The last kilometres are gravel.

The SJO transfer follows Route 1 and then Route 702 or Route 141 across the mountains to the La Fortuna area, continues west on Route 142 and turns off toward El Castillo before the lake.
