Playa Ocotal in a nutshell
Playa Ocotal is a small, sheltered cove of dark sand framed by rocky headlands, a few minutes south of Playas del Coco. It is much quieter than its neighbor, with clear water for snorkeling around the rocks and easy access to the dive sites of the Gulf of Papagayo.
Accommodation here is mostly on the hills above the cove: villas, condominiums and the Ocotal Beach Resort, with wide views over the gulf. For restaurants, shops and nightlife, Coco is a short drive away.

We collect you at your resort or villa in Ocotal. Many properties are on steep hillside roads; give us the building name or the location pin. The van takes the coast road to Coco and then the main road inland.
This is one of the shortest airport runs in the country. From the bays of the Gulf of Papagayo the van takes the local paved roads inland, across ranch land and dry forest, to Route 21 and the turn-off for the airport.
