About Playa Hermosa
This Playa Hermosa is the one in Guanacaste, on the Gulf of Papagayo between Playas del Coco and Playa Panamá, not the surf beach of the same name near Jacó. It is a wide, sheltered bay of gray sand with calm water for most of the year, good for swimming, kayaking and snorkeling, and famous for its sunsets over the gulf.
The village behind the beach is small and residential, with a few restaurants, condominiums and hotels such as Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar. Coco, with its shops and dive centers, is a few minutes away, and Liberia airport is close, which makes Hermosa a comfortable last stop before flying home.

We collect you at your hotel or condominium in Playa Hermosa. Some condos are on the hills above the bay; give us the building name or send the location pin. From the bay the local road climbs to Route 21.
The ride to Liberia airport is short and simple: out of your bay on the local road, a few kilometers of ranches and dry forest, and the terminal comes up before Liberia town. Most of the time goes on getting out of the resort or the beach streets, not on the road.
