Gaia stands at Antiguo Jardín on a mountain slope, a few kilometres from the beach. The sources count about twenty rooms and suites, studios, loft suites, a two-bedroom villa and a suite with its own plunge pool, in terraced buildings with forest views. The hotel's website lists La Luna restaurant, the Gaia Skylounge with a 360-degree view and Terra Spa with six treatment rooms, and its awards page cites World Travel Awards in the green-hotel and boutique categories for 2023 to 2025.
Fodor's puts the reserve at about 13 acres and the beach about 3 km away, with a free hourly shuttle during the day. Oyster describes a multi-tiered infinity pool with a swim-up bar and says only certain room types accept children under 13, while the Michelin listing says children are not permitted. Because the sources disagree, confirm the policy with the hotel before you book if you travel with a child.
