From SJO airport (San José)
The SJO route is Route 1 through the Central Valley, then Route 702 via San Ramón or Route 141 via Zarcero across the mountains, and down to La Fortuna: approx. 3 h of driving in our fare table. El Silencio del Campo is then only a few kilometres further west. On a VIP day we stop at La Paz waterfall and the Cinchona lookout on the Vara Blanca road.
