From SJO airport (San José)
Your driver meets you outside the SJO terminal and takes Route 1 west, then Route 702 through San Ramón and La Tigra or Route 141 through Zarcero and Ciudad Quesada, choosing on the day by traffic and weather. From the airport to the La Fortuna zone it is approx. 3 h in our fare table, and Baldi is just 4 km past the centre.
From Liberia airport (LIR)
From Liberia the route follows the Inter-American Highway to Cañas, climbs to Tilarán and runs the length of Lake Arenal's north shore before descending on Route 142. Coming from that direction you pass most of the Route 142 hotels first; Baldi, 4 km from town, is one of the last. Our fare table gives approx. 2 h 45 min.
