SJO or Liberia: which airport for Santa Teresa?
From Liberia (LIR, Guanacaste): about 4 h 30 min and $350 per vehicle. The route runs south down the Nicoya Peninsula to its southern tip.
From SJO (Juan Santamaría, San José): about 5 h 30 min and $375 per vehicle. It is one of the longer transfers from SJO, so a morning pickup leaves time to settle in before sunset.
The difference on the road is 1 h and $25. Many travelers land at one airport and fly home from the other; we cover both legs.
